Dos Casas is located three blocks from the colorful main square of the art-filled town of San Miguel de Allende. This hotel instantly projects a feeling of peacefulness upon entrance. San Miguel de Allende, named after a Mexican Independence revolutionary, was recently named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town center has magnificent 16th and 17th century architecture that has been very well preserved. It has an altitude of more than 6,000 feet above sea level, humidity is low and evenings are cool in this part of central Mexico most of the year. There are many unique shops that feature work from local artisans, art galleries, restaurants, and cafes that can keep visitors busy for days. On Sundays there is a home and garden tour of the magnificent mansions located throughout the town that wonderfully portray the bygone era of colonial Mexico.

Just steps from Dos Casas is 'Casa Suite', the hotel's new stand alone guest house. Mirroring the serene and stylish décor of the hotel, this one-bedroom property is comprised of 3 levels and has a spacious living room with a sofa bed, kitchenette, master bedroom, two full baths - the master bath includes a Jacuzzi bathtub, and a rooftop terrace with grill, chaise lounges and outdoor Jacuzzi. Additional amenities include fireplace, air conditioning, WiFi, two Flat screen TVs with cable, DVD, CD and all hotel services such as room service.
