From Florence: follow signs to Siena-Florence highway. The entrance is at the traffic circle just after the Firenze-Certosa exit of the Autostrada A1. If already on Autostrada A1, please exit at Firenze-Certosa. Proceed to Siena.

From Siena: follow signs to Grosseto and proceed to SS223. Exit at Paganico (45km) and follow brown signs to M. Amiata. Turn left at signs S. Angelo/Montalcino. Cross over the bridge and railroad tracks (15km). Turn left at next intersection after Cantina entrance. Follow signs to Castello Banfi (Poggio alle Mura) to designated parking area.

From Rome: take Autostrada A1 north toward Firenze. Exit Chiusi/Chianciano Terme (180km). At S. Quirico D'Orcia take No.2 north to Siena. At Torrenieri follow signs to Montalcino, then to S. Angelo Scalo (30km). Turn right at first intersection after passing the sign for S. Angelo. Follow road signs for Castello Bangi (Poggio alle Mura), passing a farm house on your left, crossing over a small stream and continue up hill on this curvy road with the Castello in the distance on your left. At the end of the road turn left and follow signs for Castello Banfi. Proceed to designated parking area.
