Cefalù
5 Hours
Your driver will pick you up at your hotel at 9:00 a.m. to begin a beautiful drive along a road bordered on one side by the sea and the other by luxuriant citrus and olive groves. Cefalù, a medieval town clinging to a promontory at the foot of an enormous rock, is most famous for its gorgeous, unspoiled beach and its 12th century Norman cathedral. Visit the cathedral on your own to view its elaborate Byzantine mosaics and Arab style pointed arches, stroll the town's narrow streets, or just relax and enjoy the lovely scene.

Agrigento: Land of the Gods
8 Hours
Your driver will pick you up at your hotel at 9:00 a.m. to begin your trip to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Agrigento, to see some of the best preserved Greek temples in the world. Meet your guide for a tour of the Valley of the Temples, with its classical Doric structures that date from the 5th century B.C. Built in a straight line on a ridge parallel to the sea, they are hauntingly beautiful, especially at dawn and twilight, or at night when they are illuminated. Although the temples are in various states of ruin, the most intact, the Temple of Concord, has 34 exterior columns still standing. The oldest, the Temple of Hercules, is thought to have been as large as the Parthenon in Athens. The Temple of Zeus is the largest Doric temple known, while the Temple of Juno has a commanding view over the valley. Colossal statues once stood between the columns of the massive Temple of Jupiter, one of which has been reconstructed and is now on display in the nearby Archaeological Museum, worth a visit if time allows. After a panoramic tour of the city of Agrigento, return to your hotel.

NOTE: Includes private car and driver, and guide in Agrigento. Entry fees of approximately € 6 - 12 per person are additional. Lunch is not included.

Segesta and Erice
8 Hours
Your driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel at 9:00 a.m. to begin your trip to Segesta to see its two outstanding sites: the massive Doric temple and the amphitheater set high on a hill with commanding views to the sea. The remarkably preserved, unfinished temple was built around 430 B.C. as a place of open-air sacrifices, set within a ring of 36 giant columns. Farther up the hill is the Greek amphitheatre, its white stone a contrast to the blue sea. Next drive to Erice, a dramatic medieval town perched on a mountain high above the sea. With stone houses and fortified castles, narrow streets and hidden courtyards, Erice retains the aura of a medieval village. Enjoy a walking tour of the town, including a visit to its cathedral, then visit the Norman Castle at the top of the hill, built over the remains of an ancient temple, chunks of which are incorporated into its walls. Enjoy the stupendous panoramic views before returning to Palermo.

NOTE: Includes private car and driver and guide. Entry fees of approximately € 12 per person are additional. Lunch is not included.

Selinute's Mighty Temples
8 Hours
Your driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel at 9:00 a.m. to begin your trip to Selinute, one of Sicily's most important archaeological sites. A powerful Greek colony during the 5th and 6th centuries B.C., Selinute erected a series of impressive temples that can be seen from afar: massive and slender columns lift up to the sky from a sea of ruins. Occupying three hills close to the sea, the ruins are divided into two distinct groups. The eastern group includes the remains of three large temples, while the western group consists of the massive walls of the Acropolis, five more temples, and several lesser buildings. Doric temple carvings excavated from this complex are housed in Palermo's National Archaeological Museum.

Number of Persons: 1 - 3 4 - 5 6 - 8
€ 858 € 923 € 1047

NOTE: Includes private car and driver and guide. Entry fees of approximately € 6 per person are additional. Lunch is not included.
