Paris to Port en Bessin With Sightseeing
8-9 Hours
Depart from a Paris airport (according to flight arrival) or hotel (at 9:00 a.m.) for a leisurely drive to Port en Bessin and take advantage of stops along the way for sightseeing. Your guide will recommend several restaurant possibilities for lunch (additional cost). Choose from three optional routings:

Number of Persons: 1 - 4 5 - 6 7 - 8
€ 1490 € 1596 € 1703
NOTE: Includes private car and driver/licensed guide, tolls and parking fees. Lunch is not included in the cost, nor are entry fees to specific sites mentioned. Transfer is also available originating in Port en Bessin.

Option A: Giverny
Learn the art and culture of Impressionism at Giverrny, the principal residence of Claude Monet. Visit his house, see his collection of Japanese prints and stroll through the garden that gave Monet inspiration for his series of paintings a century ago: the lilies, the Japanese bridge and the colorful paths through the garden that are shown in the majority of his work.

NOTE: Not available on Mondays. Entry fees of approximately € 6 per person are additional.

Option B: Rouen
Known as the "Town of a Hundred Steeples", Rouen is like an open-air museum featuring the painting, art, literature and architecture of different eras of history. Stroll the narrow, cobbled side streets of its medieval center; visit the Place du Marche where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake; see the 16th century Gothic cathedral built during the plague of the Black death; and view Rouen's magnificent cathedral, made famous by Claude Monet and considered the most ornate and beautiful in France.

Option C: Chateau de Versailles
First built as a Royal hunting lodge, Versailles was extensively enlarged and rebuilt by Louis XIV. While the beauty and splendor of its exterior is evident, it is on the inside, with each room having its own unique style and design, that the opulence and excesses of the period can be appreciated. Equally impressive are the gardens of the chateau, designed by the celebrated French architect, LeNotre.

NOTE: Not available on Mondays. Entry fees of approximately € 23 per person are additional.
