The hotel's owner, Terenzio Biscardo, a wine and food expert, will personally escort participants to wine tastings and tours, will give clients advice on purchasing typical Tuscan specialties, and will pair wine from his private collection with a special BBQ dinner at the hotel. This three-night package includes all meals, wine tasting and guided tours of some of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany: the Valdorcia, Crete Sensei, San Gimignano, Pienza, Montepulciano. Day 1: Afternoon arrival. In the late afternoon visit a wine cellar in Montepulciano for a guided wine tasting of the world famous Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. At 7 p.m. return to the hotel for a special BBQ dinner paired with the best wines from the hotel's vineyards. In the event of rain, dinner, including one bottle of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, will be at La Grotta in Montepulciano, located one mile from the hotel (guests provide their own transportation). Day 2: After breakfast, your host and guide Terenzio will drive you through the scenic route to San Gimignano, the "City of Beautiful Towers." View Le Crete - the clay hills of Siena. Enjoy lunch with wine at a local trattoria, followed by a tour of the Signano estate where the wine-maker Biagini Manrico will show you his vineyards and explain his method of wine production. After wine tasting at the estate, relax at Relais Ortaglia before departing for dinner at the Trattoria Diva e Maceo in Montepulciano (guests provide their own transportation). Day 3: Breakfast is followed by a guided tour of the Tuscan countryside. Visit Pienza, San Quirico d'Orcia, Montalcino, "Abbazzia di Sant'Antimo", Monte Amiata - a volcano and tallest mountain in Tuscany, Bagno Vignoni - the oldest hot spring, and the medieval village of Monticchiello. Included is a homemade lunch in a wine cellar with the wine maker and his delicious Rosso and Brunello di Montalcino. Return to the hotel by 6:00 p.m. for rest before dinner at Le Logge del Vignola, located 1 1/2 miles from the hotel (guests provide their own transportation).
