Located just blocks from La Concha beach in downtown San Sebastian, Villa Soro feels like a home away from home surrounded by stately villas in a peaceful residential section of the city. This 19th century villa turned hotel has been declared as a historical heritage building and has lovely sitting rooms and a cosy bar. Each accommodation is unique, 15 rooms are located in the main villa and ten in the renovated carriage house. All rooms have plush fabrics, good natural light and room 12, a JDB favourite, has a private terrace with charming views of the hotel's environs. Amenities include bathrooms that have separate bathtub and shower, hair dryer, safe, individually controlled air conditioning, complimentary mini-bar with non-alcoholic beverages, television and ADSL internet connection. A nice perk is the hearty and delicious breakfast that can be enjoyed either in the privacy of your room or in the former "serre" or winter garden.

Known as one of Spain's most picturesque coastal cities, San Sebastian is located in the Basque region of Northern Spain, and is 50 km from Biarritz, France and 100 km from Bilbao. Although Villa Soro has no restaurant guests do not have to look far for fine dining - San Sebastian boasts the largest concentration of Michelin starred restaurants in Europe! Villa Soro is only a short walk from 3-star Juan Mari Arzak and a short drive from other 3-star and 2-star Michelin restaurants in the area. The hotel is also close to many museums, such as the renowned Chillida Museum, golf courses, magnificent beaches and quaint medieval villages that are great to explore on foot.
