Situated in the Italian countryside and surrounded by rolling hills typical of Umbria, this estate comprised of centuries old farm houses offers visitors a unique countryside experience. The estate is comprised of 83 hectares three of which are devoted to viniculture and 3500 olive trees. Converted to a charming hotel in the late 1980's, accommodations are located in different buildings, each of which has a unique feel.

The estate's noble residence has 7 accommodations, four of which are suites, all of which are decorated with antiques and classic furnishings. The outlying buildings have a more rustic feel. The former Olive House has simpler yet spacious classic rooms, one of which is located on the ground floor and is well suited for guests with mobility constraints. Part of the former Lemon House has four accommodations with beautiful arched doorways, dramatic countryside vistas, and private terraces with rose and jasmine laden trellises. To say the aroma in spring is fragrant is an understatement! Part of the Lemon House is devoted to a full service spa called "Le Muse", featuring a seemingly endless choice of health and beauty treatments, many of which can be customized. Guests are urged to take advantage of this wonderful countryside spa! Other facilities include two outdoor swimming pools, a tennis court, and a gorgeous historic Italian garden where guests can relax and enjoy the views while dining al fresco (outdoors not without clothing!).

During high season, the hotel's owners often invite a small classical orchestra to play in the garden. The hotel's restaurant, Dolium, serves fresh regional Umbrian cuisine and has an extensive wine list of over 400 select Umbrian wines! (Umbria is home to the highly regarded Rosso di Montefalco.) The former barn has a large open kitchen used for hands-on authentic Italian cooking lessons and wine tastings that provide a fun in-depth cultural experience.
