This gorgeous hotel is set in the middle of the magnificent Dolomites mountains in the northern Italian province of Bolzano in the village of San Cassiano. The geographical location boasts stunning views of the countryside, mountains, and valleys, and it is a fitness fanatic's dream! Hotel and Spa Rosa Alpina is truly a first class family run hotel that includes a fitness center, spa, pool, three restaurants, and wedding and meeting facilities. The St. Hubertus restaurant, which was boasts two Michelin stars, is headed by one of the most famous chefs in Italy, Norbert Niederkofler, who specializes in local cuisine. He was named the top chef in the entire region of Trentino.

The spa was developed by Daniela Steiner Pizzinini, of the owning family, who has created holistic treatments that are only manually performed. She has also developed her own skincare product line made of high quality natural ingredients that are used at the spa. The spa and its indoor pool are sensational!

The beautiful mountainous scenery surrounding the hotel was the setting for the movie Cliffhanger starring Silvester Stallone. This alpine area is considered the largest ski area in the world with 540 lifts and 760 miles of skiing! This region also comprises of the highest concentration of Michelin starred restaurants in the Alps; three within a ten minute drive. Activities are in abundance and visitors can ski, hike, cycle, horseback ride, golf, visit museums and vineyards or shop.
