Situated on a hill 350 mt above sea level in the heart of the Chianti countryside, only 15 km from Siena and one hour by car from Florence, this medieval hamlet is surrounded by row after row of vineyards and olive groves. Stone houses are spread along the lanes of the borgo, some housing accommodations, others housing a gift shop and cantina. Among the buildings is also the original chapel. Restoration has been done to carefully preserve the feeling of this ancient borgo.

Guests stay either in the main palazzo facing the hamlet's main piazza or in the Medieval houses, each of which has picturesque arches, loggias and staircases. Views from the rooms vary from the rolling Chianti countryside to the lanes within the stone-built hamlet. Rooms are furnished with a mixture of antique and hand-crafted Tuscan furniture. This is a perfect place for families with its relaxed countryside environment.

Borgo San Felice's restaurant Poggio Rosso is perhaps the star in the crown here. It features Tuscan cuisine based on Chianti Classico wine and the finest Tuscan olive oil. The wine list is estensive with over 500 labels. The wine producing facility at San Felice is impressive. A tour and wine tasting are easily arranged and highly recommended.
